The Northwoods way
What a Wisconsin Supper Club is
A Wisconsin Supper Club is not a costume. There's time for a drink at the bar, and you take the relish or the salad course. Saturday Steak Night is unhurried. Friday Fish Fry is how the Northwoods eats. Ice Cream Drinks still show up after dinner. Nobody is trying to turn the table.
That is still how a night at T&T works. Steaks, Seafood, and Italian share the menu. Prime Rib is Wednesday and Saturday. Friday is Fish Fry. Broaster Chicken is offered every day besides Friday. The Brandy Old Fashioneds and Ice Cream Drinks are part of the reputation, not a sidebar.
The story
From T&T Supper Club to T&T Steakhouse
T&T started as T&T Supper Club on the north side of Iron Mountain, opened by Tate and Tavonatti. Kent Pearson bought it in 1984 and moved the supper club to Aurora.
After Kent, Annie Broullire owned it as Annie's T&T Steakhouse for about nine years. Bradey, Britany, and their mom Debbie always had a close relationship to both Kent and Annie. Annie still gives them guidance today.
In October 2022, siblings Bradey Jump and Britany (Jump) LaFave became co-owners. A local family, born and raised a mile down the road in Aurora.
Family-owned
Aurora kids, raised in the building
Britany (Jump) LaFave started in 1998 at fourteen as a dining-room busser, then bartended and waitressed. She has worked the whole house — dishes, prep, Italian cook, and steak cook. Kent and Annie taught her the daytime running of the business; when Kent wintered in Arizona, she and Annie were his right hands. Annie passed down the recipes and the running of the house so it still works the way it always has.
Bradey Jump started in 1996 at fourteen — dishes, then prep, then steak cook. When he was washing dishes, he would ride his snowmobile to work on the Aurora snowmobile path that ran behind Kent Pearson's old house. Annie Broullire taught him steaks. He still lives in the DC area.
Debbie Jump waitressed part-time from when the kids were in grade school. She kept waitressing after she retired from the VA Medical Center. When Bradey once asked his mom, "Why do you keep waitressing after you've retired from the VA?" she replied, "Because that is how I socialize." She now supervises from Heaven.
The community already knows the long-tenured kitchen and dining-room crew. People don't like change — and they don't have to. The same hands and recipes are still here.
This is not new ownership from outside. These are Aurora kids who grew up in the building, a mile down the road, and now run the supper club they were raised in.
